It's just a day

I have wondered if I will lose followers by doing the blog365 project... let's face it most of these entries are going to be a snooze-fest. And I don't have a huge following to start with. lol

Well, I think my foot is not going to fall off... I'm way too round to balance without it so that is a bit of good news. I've been in a blah yesterday and today, not sure what that is about though the weather wasn't helping. The kids have been lectured for not pulling their weight around the apartment so we will see what happens over the next week.

Teagan broke my headset so we have not recorded a new podcast... Nic's comp crashed last week so I think we might have lost the last one we recorded also. Sigh. But next week we are unveiling our new incarnation... a live radio show. So you can listen (and call in) live and then the show will still be uploaded so you can listen at your convenience. I'm nervous and excited. We , and by WE I mean Nic, are heavily edited and that cuts out lots of suckage... so it's going to be a learning curve for sure. But we both have families and Nic will be happier (well, less stabby... not really happy of course) without hours of editing on her to-do list every week. So the night of the 11th will be our first live show, woot. Next stop... Queens of All Media I loved Nicole's comparison today... we are the white Frangela. Take that, bitches!

I managed a whopping 5.. yes FIVE minutes on my fitness flyer (FF) today. Gah, wow I'm way sad. Hey, maybe I can get 6 minutes tomorrow. lol

Tomorrow I have our monthly homeschool meeting which I love and I think Nic and I are going to try to record which I also love. I get to dish on some RL people so it should be a gooood show. ;)

Best find ever!

Ok I just finished recording with Nic and Monty during which my chair broke so I did the podcast on my yoga ball... work your abs while becoming a famous podcaster, thats how awesome I am.

So I go to take my chair out to the dumpster grave and I find THIS!!! My Thelma and Louise insisted I bring it home and I am but a monkey puppet.

I think it needs a name, no?



Maybe we can paint it like the cow parade statues! lol

Long time no blog

Well school started again and with it ALL of the kids activities.

Homeschool meetings, teen committee and Irish dance on Tuesdays

Homeschool bowling league (Cam just won a medal for most wins for the first part of the year. YAY, Cameron!) on Wednesdays

Ice skating on Thursdays and now Teagan is doing dance 2x a week so Irish again on Thursdays.

And then of course other assorted things here and there... such is life when you have kids, especially when those kids are around 24 hours a day. lol


Ok well the comp update is... XP was a bust and a total waste of $100 - bleh. It wouldn't recognize my modem so I couldn't get online. So I ended up wiping xp and reinstalling Ubuntu. Apparently the computers that be want me to learn Linux.

I've read 3 books so far and gone without soda and fast food for 12 full days. I had some recent temptation due to some pretty big real life drama that left me with a painful NEED for comfort food but I fought the urge and feel much better that I'm still on track.

I've lost my first 2lbs of the year so yay me. :D

Our salt dough ornaments are painted and sealed. Our INUIY girl looks so much prettier with a coat of paint on her. What do you think?

What a friggin night

You would think I would be used to it by this point in my life but it never fails to shock me how amazingly immature some "adults" can be.

I'm going to be unloading on tonight's podcast... grr It's nights like this that I am beyond thankful that I have outlets like my blog and podcast and msg board.
