Day 3
Nothing impressive today, just a quick little project.
A few paper beads coated in Sparkle Mod Podge. They may be used in another day's thing, we'll see.

Thing-A-Day, Day 2 wow today was a trip
Ok So I found a pancake recipe I wanted to make for the kids and it said it made 12 so I figured hey I’ll double it to make 24, thats a grand idea. My first warning was that the recipe called for 10 cups of buttermilk and 10 cups of flour…
Here is the huge amount of batter the recipe made. That is my largest bowl, I couldn't lift it. I had to bring my pathetically tiny griddle over to the sink.
Mountain of pancakes. 52 regular (about hand sized) and 12 plate sized. Makes 24 my butt!
Pancakes as far as the eye can see and fresh bread... that's pretty much ALL I did today.
Sigh, this wasn't supposed to be my thing. I'm not very happy with it as my thing but I guess crap days are going to happen. Tomorrow's thing will be much better. :D

Thing-A-Day Day 1
For my first thing I made Mock Ice cream Sandwiches using homemade whipped cream. Smush some cream between two graham cracker squares, decorate and freze for at least 4 hours. Next time I might add some fudge sauce to the cracker or flavor the whipped cream chocolate or mint... or both. *drool*

Starting to whip the cream. Have I mentioned how much I love this mixer?
Whip it, baby! This is the first time I have ever tried to make (or tasted for that matter) homemade whipped cream. I think it came out ok, it was whippy and the family thought it was great. They are the only judges that really matter, right?

What’s this?

* See what everyone else has been up to and steal ideas, comment on other people’s work or reinvent something they did.
* No recycled old work, no posting someone else’s stuff pretending its yours… we’ll welcome anyone who wants to join and we trust you know the basic net ethics (-we reserve the right to kick someone out if/when needed).
How long will it take me?
You should be spending an average of 20 minutes a day, and no more than an hour.
Do i need to know what a blog is?
* Probably. But if you don’t, you’ll learn it pretty fast. By Day 3 of bugs and troubles, you’ll be all set.
* If you already have your own blog, feel free to post your things anywhere you wish and link to them from here. But remember that people will be most inclined to check out your work if you post at least a picture or a good hook to your post.
